Project Overview
Located on the pebble beach seafront, the hotel blends its historic coaching inn roots with a refined contemporary coastal aesthetic. Our aim was to create imagery that captures the property’s relationship with the English Channel, its restored heritage details, and its modern design identity. This project focused on atmosphere as much as architecture, highlighting the interplay between sea views, interiors, and guest experience.
Our Approach
For this hotel photography commission, we developed a visual narrative that balances history and modernity. Wide compositions establish the hotel’s connection to the shoreline, while tighter frames explore material textures, natural light, and design details. We prioritised clean composition, subtle movement, and thoughtful use of negative space.
Visual Style
Cool sea glass tones meet warm sand hues, echoing the South Downs cliffs and tidal horizon. The imagery embraces softness and clarity, allowing light to shape each space naturally.
This photo collection feels elevated yet grounded in place. Interiors are styled with restraint, ensuring the focus remains on light, texture, and atmosphere. Exterior images capture shifting coastal conditions, reinforcing the hotel’s identity as a destination defined by sea air and horizon lines.
Together, the visuals present The White Horses not simply as accommodation, but as a coastal experience rooted in heritage and design.
